What is Content ID? How is it different from copyright takedown?

Content ID is an audio fingerprint matching system. When someone uploads content using your track (full song or a snippet), the platform auto-recognizes it and claims revenue for you. Different from takedown — you’re not removing their video, you’re taking a revenue share.
