• What is Spilix? — Spilix is a music distributor: you upload your finished tracks and we deliver them to streaming services and stores on your behalf — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon, Deezer, Tidal and 100+ more. You stay independent and keep your masters.
• What do I need to release a track? — A lossless audio file (WAV or FLAC), square cover art at 3000×3000px with no logos/URLs/handles, your release metadata (title, artists, genre, copyright lines) and a release date at least 2 weeks out so stores can ingest it (the $5 early-release add-on unlocks a closer date).
• Which stores do you deliver to? — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, and 100+ others including social platforms. You choose the exact stores in the submit step of each release.
• Do I have to subscribe before releasing? — You can build and save drafts on the free trial, but pushing a release to stores requires an active yearly plan. Pick one from Billing when you’re ready to ship.
• Do you register my songs with a PRO? — No. Distribution and publishing are separate. To collect performance royalties from radio and public play you register with a PRO yourself, or add our Publishing Administration add-on, which collects songwriter royalties globally.
